  • How to get to UAM

    Cantoblanco Campus is located 15 km from Madrid citycenter. Communication with the city is easy and fast. By suburban train (Cercanías) it takes 20 minutes to arrive to Puerta del Sol. It can also be accessed by bus from different parts of the city.

    The Faculty of Law is made up of two buildings. From the train station it takes 15 minutes on foot, or less than 5 minutes by bike. At the station entrance there is an Information Point.

  • Transport Pass (Abono de transporte)

    For frequent use of transport in Madrid and up to the UAM, you can obtain a Transport Pass for zone B1.
    These season tickets can be purchased at ticket offices or automatic machines on the Metro Network. In the case of the Youth Pass (until June 30 of the year in which the 23rd birthday is fulfilled) it is necessary to show the original and a photocopy of the ID, or passport. In approximately fifteen days you will have the card sent to your adress.

  • International Reception Office

    This office is responsible for offering both academic and administrative attention and information to international students, professors and researchers. Among other things, it offers information on accommodation, the health system, visas and residence permits, opening bank accounts, processing documents, language exchanges...

  • Spanish language courses at UAM

    International students can attend the Spanish language course offered by the LAnguage Service at UAM for both the first and second semester, which they can access after passing a level test.

    The Language Service also offers full year courses of English, French, Italian and German languages.

  • Erasmus Student Network (ESN) - UAM

    It is a volunteers' associacion that is part of a European network of students' associations founded in 1990 with the support of the European Commission. It's purpose is to help incoming mobility students (not only Erasmus). They organize cultural activities, meetings, trips, language exchanges, they offer discounts on some services...

  • Cultural Activities at UAM

    At UAM you can find a Theatre Worshop, a choir, pottery classes...

  • UAM Sports Center

    Here at the campus you can do several sports and join dance classes. You can also find two swimming pools (summer and winter). 

  • Health Service

    At Plaza Mayor building you can find a Health Office that assists students. In case of emergency, you should call 1000 (from a UAM phone) or (+34) 606-91-1000 from your personal phone.
