General requirements

General requirements for internships

  • To be registered in the 3rd or 4th year of study in the Faculty.
  • To have completed at least 50% of the credits in your degree programme.
    • Bachelor’s in Economics and BAM: must have passed 150 credits.
    • Undergraduate programme in Economics, BAM, Aeronautical Management and Tourism: must have passed 120 credits.
    • Bachelor’s in TMR: must have passed 75 credits and be registered for at least one class in the last year of study.
    • Bachelor’s in TMR: must have passed 75 credits and be registered for at least one class in the last year of study.
  • Bachelor’s in TMR: must have passed 75 credits and be registered for at least one class in the last year of study To do internships through a Collaboration Agreement for the Educational Cooperation Programme signed by the UAM and the corresponding company or institution. (More information on the legal Collaboration Agreement, agreement, appendix and relationship to students may be found under “Information for companies.”)

Internships in companies are an educational activity accompanied by academic advising. The goal is to complete your training and make it easier for you to find a job. In order to be graded, company internships require continuous monitoring and evaluation, from start to finish. Therefore, the student may not receive credit for internships performed previously.
