Presentation

The Master in "Biomolecules and Cell Dynamics” is intended to prepare students to develop a research career in the field of Molecular and Cellular Biology, and its applications. The objective of the Master in Biomolecules and Cell Dynamics is to train professionals with both a deep knowledge of the structures and molecular processes of cells and the ability to use experimental and computational tools for study. During their Master studies, students will develop a research project, for which the Master has the support of recognized research groups of the UAM as well as the most prestigious research centres in the country. In addition, this Master has a panel of faculty experts in specific areas of Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology. Finally, this Master also allows to access to a PhD program to students interested in a research career. This Master is included in the UAM’s Official Molecular Biosciences Postgraduate Program, developed jointly by the Department of Biochemistry (Faculty of Medicine) and the Department of Molecular Biology (Faculty of Sciences) at the UAM. The Official Molecular Biosciences Postgraduate Program is derived from previous doctorate programs that received a special mention for quality from the Ministry for Education and Science. This new Program also includes the Masters in Molecular Biomedicine (BMM) and Biotechnology (BT). The three Masters share some of the compulsory and optional credits, and they are all taught in english language.
