English version

I’m mainly interested in the study of aging effects on cognitive processes, motor control and their neural underpinnings with different neuroimaging techniques. During my PhD, I initiated a line of research focused on the exploration of age-related deficits in working memory (more particularly, inhibitory deficits in the context of external interference) and their neural correlates with magnetoencephalography (MEG). During my postdoctoral period, I had the opportunity to broaden my understanding on aging and motor learning (bimanual coordination), using resting state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) and electroencephalography (EEG). Additionally, I became familiar with other structural imaging techniques, such as diffusion tensor imaging (TDI) and magnetization transfer imaging (MTI).
