  • The Master’s Degree in IT Engineering at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid seeks to enable students to acquire advanced specialized or multidisciplinary training, oriented toward professional specialization and an initiation to research work.
    The Master’s Degree entitles graduates to exercise the profession of IT Engineer and provides students with the appropriate professional skills for performing to the highest quality standards, and for recognition as Engineer, as well as for other tasks related to innovation, research or entrepreneurship.

    Specific accession and admission requirements:
    Entry requirements for the Master’s Degree
    1. Applicants to the Master’s Degree in IT Engineering must have previously acquired the skills set forth in paragraph 3 in Appendix II to this Agreement (Official State Gazette 4 August 2009, no. 187, Section III, Page 66699, Resolution of 8 June 2009, of the General Secretariat for Universities) in which recommendations are given for verification of official university degrees linked to the profession of Information Technology Engineer, and the training given must be as established in paragraph 5 in Appendix II mentioned above.

    2. Similarly, students applying for admission to this Master’s Programme will be admitted provided they can accredit having completed a basic training module and a common module in this branch of learning; and though not having completed a full bloc in the specific technology module, they have achieved 48 credits of the total in said module in a Bachelor’s Programme linked to the profession of Information Technology Engineer, as set forth in this agreement.
    3. Likewise, students holding any other undergraduate degree will be eligible for admission to this Master’s Programme, although in these cases complementary studies will be prescribed as required.
