Comenius Multilateral Projects

The Comenius programme focuses on the first phase of education, from pre-school and primary to secondary schools. It is relevant for all members of the education community: pupils, teachers, public authorities, parents’ associations, non-government organisations, teacher training institutes, universities and all other educational staff.

                Tel4ELE: Teacher Learning for European Literacy Education

Description:

In essence the ultimate aim of the Teacher Learning for European Literacy Education (TeL4ELE) project is to improve student learning outcomes, particularly for those who are educationally disadvantaged, including second language learners. The consortium aims to do this by supporting literacy educators in five European countries to become experts in genre based literacy pedagogy, specifically the Reading to Learn program

               RD-SVTD: Responding to diversity by engaging with students' voices: A strategy for teacher development


Description:
The objective of the project is to examine the impact of rising numbers of migrant children, as well as those identified as having special educational needs or from economically poor backgrounds, on how teachers actually teach.
