4h International Staff Training Week -Pázmány Péter Catholic University

"Pázmány Péter Catholic University cordially invites you to our 4th international staff training week from the 24th to the 27th of April, 2018!

2nd Library Staff Training Week -University of Thessaloniki

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh) is organizing its 2nd Erasmus Library Staff Training Week from the 14th till the 18th of May 2018 in Thessaloniki.

Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Library & Information Centre & Department of European Educational Programmes) invites library staff (librarians, information specialists, Library IT staff, etc.) to share ideas, knowledge and expertise. Such exchange may enable collaboration and provide solutions to common problems.

The programme includes: presentation of Aristotle University and its two cooperating departments (Library & Department of European Educational Programmes), presentations/workshops regarding AUTh Library collections and services, optional presentations by participants, tours, trip, etc.

Erasmus Staff Training Week - University of Hradec Králové, Czech Republic

This Erasmus Staff Training Week is intended for colleagues working in these fields of administration: International Relations Office/Public Relations Office. In three thematic workshops we will concentrate on issues related to the participants` professional interests listed in the application forms. This year workshops will focus on the topics: Foreign Students Recruitment, Good Practice with Incoming Trainees, Summer Schools.
 
On Thursday 19th April and on Friday 20th April between 9:00 and 12:00, each participant will have the opportunity to visit a counterpart faculty/department/office, and share views on topics of their own choice related to their professional orientation. Such visits have to be prearranged by the participants before their arrival. We will of course assist you with any contact information needed (upon request). Participants are welcome to arrange more individual visits if they wish so.

Erasmus Staff Training Week, 5th edition: West University of Timisoara

The schedule of the week includes: presentation(s) of UVT and partner institutions, presentation of the Department of International Relations and the Erasmus+ Office, workshop(s) on internationalization of HEIs, job shadowing for all participants in the event, visit(s) at museum, networking and farewell dinners at Romanian traditional restaurant and a nearby vineyard. 

During the time spent together we will discuss various means and approaches to support all Erasmus+ participants in our universities in order to make them feel at home and offer optimum international study/placement/teaching/training conditions. 2nd Erasmus+ Global Week Politécnico de Coimbra - 21st to 25th May, 2018

This week is directed to both academic and international officer staff.

The main purpose of this event is to widen and strengthen the cooperation with our partner institutions, to share our different experiences on internationalization, to facilitate networking and establishment of new partnerships. Participants will be given the opportunity to learn from experiences and good practices of partner institutions. They will be allowed to exchange ideas about international credit mobility, international networks, to explore and discuss special topics of interest within the field of internationalization, and much more. The programme will cover workshops for staff and lectures for academics, international fair and cultural activities.

The host institution will cover the costs of local travel, coffee breaks, welcoming lunch, farewell dinner and some free time activities.

Compulsory Participation Fee  - 50 EUR

International week at Tampere University of Applied Sciences

The theme of the week is “Competence-based Learning in the Digital Age” and it contains workshops, seminars, a full day in the National Skills Competition, and of course some fun social activities like a Finnish smoke sauna experience!

4th edition of the Erasmus+ Week at the University of Dubrovnik

We are happy to announce the 4th edition of the Erasmus+ Week at the University of Dubrovnik for teaching staff from our partner institution, taking place from 9 - 13 April 2018.

Although this year's Erasmus+ Week is intended for teaching staff, we would gladly accept members of other staff as well and if possible organise „job-shadowing“ activities for them.

The working language will be English and teachers should give 8h of lectures at UNIDU departments in regards to their scientific field. Beside this, all participants will have the opportunity to present their home institution during the Erasmus+ International fair, as well as to participate in different social activities.

The funding is possible from the Erasmus+ grant distributed by the home university (please check the availability of such funding with the Erasmus coordinator at your institution), which should cover the costs of travel, accommodation and meals.

UMinho INTernational Week 2018

The UMinho is very pleased to announce its UM_INT: UMinho INTernational Week which will be held between 7-11 May 2018.

This week is specifically designed for administrative staff and will focus on current features related to the practical issues within the International Cooperation sphere. Along the week, participants will have the opportunity to attend several sessions, seminars and workshops and actively participate in the programme through the presentation of selected topics. The programme will provide an intercultural learning experience through diverse networking moments creating the ideal atmosphere for the exchange of know-how and best practices between the participants as well as interact with staff from the University of Minho. This International Staff Training Week is open to administrative staff from the following different departments: International Office, Documentation Services, Teaching Support Office, Academic Services, and Communication, Information and Image Office. Each specific area will offer different paths in terms of seminars/workshops. Each participants can only choose one specific department from the 5 ones stated above.

The week will also include a social programme with cultural visits of the surrounding monuments.

Compulsory staff week registration fee is 150 EUR and includes: Useful kit; lunches and coffee-breaks; cultural visits; tour to the University facilities and infrastructures; and networking dinner on Tuesday.

 8th ERASMUS STAFF TRAINING WEEK at the University of Cyprus, Nicosia 

 

8th ERASMUS STAFF TRAINING WEEK with the theme Train the Trainer Training for Mobility Officers which will be held between the 4th and 8th June 2018 in Nicosia, Cyprus!

The Erasmus Staff Training Week will allow participants from programme and partner countries to exchange ideas who work with Mobility to be informed and/or trained in skills related to their everyday work.

The training will include soft skills, languages, social media and intercultural communication. Participants will have the chance to present their own sessions if they belong to one of the those four pillars.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn some Greek but also discover the local culture with a Nicosia city tour, an excursion and the Erasmus by night dinner.

University of Burgundy 2nd International Staff Week

Interculturality in international mobility: dividing cultures or building bridges?

The event will take place in Dijon, France, from 18th - 21st June 2018.

The aims of the Staff Week:

  • discussing the constraints of interculturality ;
  • providing you with an overview of the benefits of interculturality ;
  • giving you the right tools and best practices to ensure effective intercultural support for your outgoing and incoming students;
  • sharing examples of effective and successful interculturality projects in both the uB and participants’ universities;
  • strengthening international partnerships between participants;
  • introducing the University of Burgundy.

The event is open to both teaching and administrative staff members of higher education institutions all over the world.

We have also put together a diverse cultural program which will give you the opportunity to taste our world famous wines and discover Burgundy culture, gastronomy and UNESCO prized vineyards.

Different types of participation fees are available:

  • 300 euros: basic participation fees for 1 person;

  • 500 euros: basic participation fees for 1 person and accommodation provided for 2 people in high quality apartment on campus. If the second person staying in said accommodation would also like to take part in the staff week programme, they must only pay the basic participation fee.

Riga Technical University is pleased to announce its 7th International Staff Training Week, which will take place from 28 May to 1 June 2018 in Riga, Latvia. The five-day program consists of workshops, presentations and social events.
 
For the fourth time the program is designed both for international officers and staff dealing with financial management of HEI. There will be a specific parallel program for participants whose professional field is connected to finance and accounting in HEI. The program includes meetings with representatives of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Finance of RTU, presentations, workshops and visiting units of the Office of the Vice-Rector for Finance. The main themes will cover accounting, financial management and planning in HEIs.
 
The maximum number of participants is 30. We will send you an e-mail by 20 March to let you know whether your application has been accepted.
