Student associations

The Universidad Autónoma de Madrid has 56 active student associations, the bylaws of which are adapted to current legislation. In the deputy Vice-chancellor's office for Students and ongoing training  there is a list of Student associations showing all the details of these associations.

Student associations serve students as means of representation and participation in the collegiate bodies of the university and in other aspects of university life.

The university has a Co-ordinator for Student Participation.

The office of the Co-ordinator and her assistant is located on the fifth floor of the Vice-chancellor's office, offices no. 1 and 2

There are two types of Student Associations in the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid: Those linked to faculties, and inter-faculty associations.

We offer some models for completing the documentation, which might be useful to new associations and existing ones in order to improve their operation:

We also provide the current Regulations for the Holding of Festive Events for Students on the Cantoblanco Campus of UAM, approved by the Board of Governors on 2 February 2007.
