Date

 30 September, 1st – 3rd of October 2009 (from a Wednesday to a Saturday). This format will allow people to stay for the weekend for sight-seeing and social events

Venue

The conference will take place in the Residencia “la Cristalera” in Miraflores de la Sierra (Madrid). The Residencia La Cristalera (http://www.lacristalera.com/) is an academic meeting centre of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid situated at 2 km from Miraflores de la Sierra (1.200 m.) in direction Puerto de la Morcuera (1.796 m.) and the village of Rascafría. Miraflores de la Sierra is a nice village located at 49 km North of Madrid, with a fast access by car, and well communicated by public bus (each 30 min from the Intercambiador Plaza de Castilla in Madrid). Accommodation

La Cristalera’s choice is mainly connected with the possibility to sleep and eat for all the conference participants with much lower accommodation and food prices.

The price for the complete conference (3 days bed and breakfast, lunch and dinners *) is 160 Euros for professionals. For students, there exists a 50% discount offer for the complete conference, 80 Euros all included, depending on rooms availability (60-70 persons available places) in shared rooms. The price of the farewell dinner (Friday October 2nd) is aprox. 18 Euros.

All the rooms have bathroom and daily cleaning services.

Meeting facilities

The Residencia La Cristalera has an auditorium for 100 people and it is fully equipped with PowerPoint projector, movie projector, etc. There are also three additional rooms for groups of 25 people available.

There is WiFi connection to Internet everywhere in  the building, and two computers with Internet, fax, fotocopies, etc. in Secretaría (http://www.lacristalera.com/instalaciones/academicas/
