Volume 2. October 1993
From
October 7-10th 1992, the Science Faculty of the Universidad Autónoma
de Madrid hosted the first meeting of the recently created ICAZ (International
Council for Archaeozoology) Bird Working Group. A total of 43 scholars
attended the Meeting. Due to the diversity and interest of the papers presented,
the attendants decided on their rapid publication and, for this purpose,
the Journal ARCHAEOFAUNA, published by the Laboratorio de Arqueozoología
of U.A.M., was chosen as the most appropiate tool.
