ABSTRACT: We have carried out a biometric study of 21 skeletons of Corvus corax tingitanus, from the Canary Islands and have compared them with 15 skeletons of Corvus corax corax from Majorca ( Balearic Islands). These results are referred to seven cranial and eight postcranial lengths. There are some differences among the dimensions of the canary island subspecies; Corvus corax tingitanus being smaller than Corvus corax corax. The degree of reduction of the various lengths is variable and not proportional in different body regions of the birds.
