Modern
Complex Analysis and Operator Theory and
Applications, IV
El
Escorial (Madrid), SPAIN, June
17-21, 2009

This is the
fourth conference "Modern Complex Analysis and Operator Theory and
Applications". Similar
meetings were held
previously under different names in
Dublin
(2004), El Escorial (2005), and Chapel Hill (2007). Just like the successful
conference honoring Prof. Peter Duren in 2005, this fourth
meeting in the series
was held at the residence "Casa
E. San José" in El Escorial, a historical town and a UNESCO
World Heritage site located about 55 km (35 miles) away from
downtown Madrid, Spain. Some activities will be held at the
Hotel "Victoria Palace" in San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
The conference focused on a number of topics of current research such as spaces of
analytic functions, geometric function theory, stochastic Loewner
equation,
complex dynamics, dynamics of operators, Toeplitz and
composition operators, as well as their different applications in
Mathematics and Science in general.
The meeting is now over. We would like to thank all the participants for coming and
also
regret that some pre-registered people could not participate due to illness.
Hope to see you again at another similar meeting! Some pictures will be
posted soon.
