UAM geometry

Welcome to my page.

I am a differential geometer working on Riemannian Geometry. I like to think about the topological significance of sectional curvature, and have spent a great amount of time studying open manifolds with nonnegative curvature. But I keep an open mind about others flavours of geometry as well.

I got my degree at the Mathematics Department of the University of Maryland at College Park, and then spent some years as a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania. Both were great places to be.

On July 2000 I got a professorship at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. A few years later, in October 2006 I got a position at the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Hope to see you there.
