What's CEDEL2?

CEDEL2 is a research project at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and
Universidad de Granada (Spain).

We are investigating how English-speaking people learn Spanish.
-
We also need Spanish native speakers for comparative purposes.
-
That is
why we are creating a large database called CEDEL2. Over
2000 volunteers have already participated (a total of over half a
million words contributed).

Who can participate?
-
Learners of Spanish (any level) whose mother tongue is English.
-
Native speakers of Spanish.
-
If you
are a teacher of Spanish, you can ask your students to participate. They
will get for free their level of Spanish grammar plus a printed
certificate of participation.

What do you need to do?
-
You need to fill in three EASY online forms about Spanish language.
-
You do NOT need grammar books, dictionaries… we want REAL and SPONTANEOUS
language.

What can you get from it?
-
Learners will be emailed for free their level of Spanish.

Participants will get an official certificate of participation stamped by
the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.

Who has already participated?

Around 1600 volunteers have already participated worldwide, e.g.: • USA (Georgia State, Penn State, St Louis, etc) • UK (Open
University, University of Essex) • Spain (Universidad de Cantabria, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid,
Universidad Complutense, Fundación Ortega y Gasset, etc.)

¿Qué es CEDEL2?

CEDEL2 es un proyecto de investigación de la Universidad Autónoma de
Madrid y la Universidad de Granada.
-
Estamos investigando cómo se aprende el español por parte de nativos de
inglés.
-
Para ello, necesitamos también la participación de hablantes
nativos de español para tomarlos como referencia.

Por ello
estamos creando una gran base de datos llamada CEDEL2. Ya han
participado más de 2000 voluntarios ha (lo cual representa más de medio millón
de palabras recibidas).

¿Quién puede participar?
-
Estudiantes de español (cualquier nivel) cuya lengua materna sea el
inglés.
-
Hablantes nativos de español.
-
Si eres
un profesor de español, le puedes pedir a tus alumnos que participen,
pues recibirán gratuitamente su nivel de gramática y, además, un
certificado de participación.

¿Qué hay que hacer?

Tan sólo rellenar unos formularios online sobre el español.
-
No necesitas diccionarios ni gramáticas. Tan sólo estamos interesados en
tu lenguaje ESPONTÁNEO Y NATURAL.

¿Qué obtendré
a cambio?
-
Los estudiantes de español recibirán por email su nivel de español
(gramática).
-
A todos los participantes se les enviará por correo un certificado de
participación (sellado por la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid).

Ya han
participado unos 1600 voluntarios
de
universidades y colegios de todo el mundo, p.ej.: • USA (Georgia State, Penn State, St
