The Foundation of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (FUAM), together with the CIADE - UAM Centre for Entrepreneurial Initiatives and with the collaboration of the Federation of Business Associations of Insertion Companies (FAEDEI), are developing the "Social Insertion for Green Entrepreneurship" project, which is financed by Obra Social Caja Madrid (Madrid Savings Bank Friendly Society).

This project aims to raise the level of professionalism of insertion companies whose activity is related to the environmental sector or who are looking to refocus their activity in that direction; to do so, it makes the resources and capabilities of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in the field of entrepreneurship and environment available to social insertion companies.

The "Social Insertion for Green Entrepreneurship" project will consist of a total of 112 hours of training and a free technical assistance service for both the administrators and the workers, aimed at contributing to the task of facilitating workers' insertion into the labour force.

Course for workers in Social Insertion Companies, to develop their skills in various areas of the Environmental Sector – 23, 24 and 25 March

The course will cover various areas of work in the environmental sector: landscaping, botany, soil treatment, waste treatment, water treatment, maintenance of solar energy plants, new fuels and renewable energy sources, etc.
