The students of the Master in International Economics who choose the professional track need to carry out internships in first-rate institutions in the field of international economics.

The minimum duration of the internship is 120 hours, although the internship may be extended by up to 630 hours (yielding a maximum duration of 750 hours).

Although students have to find their internships themselves, the coordinators of the master will assist them in the search process. In the past, the students of the master have been able to carry out their internships in institutions such as:

• the Ministry of Economy and Business
• The Ministry of the Treasury
• the Bank of Spain (BdE)
• the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIReF)
• the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV)
• the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX)
• Banco Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA)
• Banco Santander

In some cases, the internships are paid.
