While we will try to take individual circumstances into consideration, the successful candidate needs to be prepared to reside in Madrid for the duration of the fellowship. The working language of the group is English and the candidate’s curriculum should prove s/he is capable of functioning and publishing in English. A level of proficiency in Spanish will be considered an advantage.

The HERA funding for the postdoctoral position is for 12 months. The monthly stipend is stipulated by the rules governing public universities in the Autonomous Community of Madrid. A limited research and travel allowance is part of the overall project budget.

The deadline for the applications is October 9, 2018. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview through internet (carried out online, if necessary). The appointment will be made from the earliest date possible, but no later than 1 November 2018.
