The Royal Academy of Engineering, sponsored by the “Pro Rebus Academiae” Foundation, annually opens the Young Researchers “Agustín de Betancourt y Molina” and “Juan López de Peñalver” Awards bestowed on young engineers (under 36 years old) that have made relevant contributions to the research in any of the fields of engineering or architecture studies, practical applications of the sciences or historical/social aspects related to all of the above. The development of their work has to be, at least in part, significant for Spain.
The endowment of each of the prizes is of €10.000 that is awarded along with a certificate and a badge. The deadline for applications is the 30th April, 2013.
The prize-winnings gain the compromise to give, in the head offices of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a conference on one or different high-lighted aspects of their research labour within one year. The Royal Academy of Engineering reserves the right to edit that conference.
