THEORETICAL PARTICLE PHYSICS, "PROFESOR VISITANTE"
(VISITING POSITIONS: ASSISTANT OR FULL PROFESSOR LEVEL)

The Department of Theoretical Physics of Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM, www.ft.uam.es) will have a few openings for visiting positions, for the academic year 2012-2013, which may last from one semester or less (a few months) up to one year. Knowledge of spanish is strongly recommended, but not mandatory. One of the positions may eventually be renewed for a second year. The ideal profile is that of a senior scientist on sabathical or long-term leave, although senior postdocs are also encouraged to apply.
Although the deadline is end of February 2012, please notice that some positions may already be allocated any time since January 7th 2012. The research lines followed in the Department are: Theoretical Particle Physics, Experimental High Energy Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics, System Neuroscience, Astrophysics and Cosmology.
