Passing of Raúl Villar, former Rector of the UAM and member of the Condensed Matter Physics Department

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Raúl Villar, former Rector of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1994 to 2002 and member of the Condensed Matter Physics Department.

Raúl devoted his life to the values of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and made an outstanding contribution to the advancement of Physics.
