Curriculum Vitae
PhD in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) from UCM at IEM-CSIC, where I worked on laser-based nanofabrication combined with AFM metrology and synchrotron techniques to study semiconducting polymers. This work received the AUSE award for the best PhD thesis using synchrotron radiation.
During my first postdoctoral stage at the Heyrovský Institute in Prague, I shifted to two-dimensional materials and nano-optics. I established a TERS/TEPL laboratory, developed tip-fabrication protocols and led its operation. After that, as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow at ICMM-CSIC, I consolidated an independent line on strain engineering and moiré photonics.
Currently, within the ERC project HeaT2Defects (IFIMAC-UAM), I extend this work toward Raman thermometry and defect-mediated heat transport using a next-generation TERS system.
