Lineas de investigaciónEl principal objetivo de nuestra investigación es el diseño y síntesis de nuevas macromoléculas organometálicas (dendríticas y/o poliméricas) con actividad rédox. En particular, desarrollamos las siguientes líneas de trabajo:
i. Diseño, síntesis y caracterización de fragmentos dendríticos (dendrones) funcionalizados con metalocenos electroactivos.
ii. Síntesis de estructuras macromoleculares dendríticas con distintos metalocenos.
iii. Estudio de las propiedades electroquímicas de las macromoléculas organometálicas tanto en disolución como inmovilizadas sobre superficies electródicas.
iv. Desarrollo de superficies electródicas con macromoléculas dendríticas como plantilla, que permitan obtener nanopartículas metálicas (Pt, Au, o aleaciones Au-Pt) de tamaños controlados.
v. Desarrollo de biosensores electroquímicos, utilizando tanto las superficies con nanopartículas de tamaño controlado como las macromoléculas depositadas sobre electrodos o sobre nanopartículas metálicas.
vi. Desarrollo de sensores electroquímicos basados en las macromoléculas organometálicas, para el reconocimiento molecular de iones y moléculas neutras.
