European Youth Energy Day
EUSEW 2021 will include the second edition of the European Youth Energy Day.
This year, the European Youth Energy Network (EYEN) is joining the EUSEW team as a partner, to take the discussions to the next level with practical implementation.
In order to give young participants a chance to really get involved, EUSEW 2021 will be hosting the first European Youth Energy Communication Hackathon, leading up to the European Youth Energy Day (EYED) on 28 October 2021.
WHEN AND WHERE?
Participants will be invited to join the 48-hour online hackathon from 18:00 CET on Monday 25 October to 18:00 CET on Wednesday 27 October. This unique opportunity will allow pioneering individuals from across Europe to work on concrete projects alongside experts in sustainable energy, before pitching them to a jury on Thursday 28 October.
Are you between 18 and 34 years-old*? Do you have ideas on how to transform Europe into the first climate-neutral continent? Then the European Commission would like your input!
We invite you to engage in active conversations on the themes that you identify as most relevant to prepare a renewed Europe – greener and more sustainable.
Teams composed of up to 5 participants will be invited to develop innovative communication solutions to enhance consumer engagement with renewable sources of energy and energy efficiency.
Taking part in the first European Youth Energy Communication Hackathon provides the perfect opportunity for you to connect with other young Europeans and on-going initiatives from all over Europe!
