Luis Paz-Ares (MD, PhD) is Head of Medical Oncology Unit at the Hospital Virgen del Rocio in Sevilla and Full Profesor at the Universidad de Sevilla. He is medical oncologist and develops an intense clinical activity in investigating new agents in the treatment of lung cancer. It is one of the main drivers of the Spanish Group for Research on Cancer Lung, and simultaneously develops outstanding work as basic research on this tumour.
