Resume CV

Anselmo del Prado received his BSc in Chemistry from the University of Salamanca in 2010. He obtained his MSc in High Specialization on Plastics and Rubber from the International University Menéndez Pelayo (Madrid), and joined to the Polymer Functionalization Group, in the Institute of Polymer Science and Technology of the Spanish Research Council (ICTP-CSIC) in Madrid, where he carried out his master Thesis (‘Functionalization of polystyrene substrates’) and his PhD (‘Aminated polyvinylpyrrolidones: synthesis, characterization and applications in biomedical and technological fields’) working with Dr. Reinecke, Dr. Elvira and Dr. Gallardo. In 2016, he joined as postdoctoral researcher to the Prof. Christoph Weder’s group in the Adolphe Merkle Institute (Fribourg-Switzerland), where his research was focused on the preparation of supramolecular polymers and phase segregated materials for debond on-demand adhesives and self-healing materials.
In September 2018 he joined Prof. David González’s group (MSMn) at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, where he expands his expertise in the supramolecular polymer materials field. In 2019 he was awarded the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellowship to develop self-healable materials based on cooperative supramolecular interactions.
