Each credit for which you register represents 20 hours of work at the company (20 hours = 1 credit).
Further, independently of the number of credits that the student needs, the minimum number of hours for Internships is 180 for students in Business Administration and Management, Economics, and Techniques of Market Research; and 240 hours for students in Tourism. In general, the maximum number of internship hours to be completed during the academic year is 500 for all internships.
The hours of the internship should be compatible with the student’s class schedule. This generally means that the student may only work a maximum of 5 hours a day when classes are in session and up to 8 hours daily when classes are not in session.
