Admission applications are managed entirely by the Center of Postgraduate Studies of the UAM, and should be made online.
Admission profile
This Master programme is aimed at students who have a Spanish "Grado" or "Licenciatura" degree in Physics, a similar degree in Physics from a country within the ESHE ("Bologna") area, or an equivalent degree from other European or non-European countries. Other degrees and/or “Bachelor of Science” may also be accepted, as long as the student adapts his/her basic training under the supervision of a tutor and acquires the required knowledge, according to the criteria established by the Monitoring Committee of the Postgraduate Programme.
Admission requirements
The admission and student selection in the postgraduate programme is based on the evaluation of the applicant’s resume, including the academic record and reference letters from home institutions, and will be performed by the Monitoring Committee of the Programme. Said Committee will evaluate each application taking into account the Degree and previous training of the applicant, and will establish, in each case, textra courses will need to be taken prior to admission. The Committee may also require an interview with the candidate.
