Monday June 12, 2023. Campus. Walk from EDUAM to Rectorate

The coordinator/Academic Commission of the different doctoral programs will select communications that represent each one of them, which will be exhibited from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in an open space on the Cantoblanco campus.

Prizes will be awarded to the best posters, which will be selected by voting among those attending the exhibition.

The doctoral students selected to exhibit a poster must complete the following document: Poster summary template, following the instructions reflected in it, to include the summary of the communication in the book of the UAM Doctoral Week (only in digital format, there will be no printed version). The document, in pdf format, must be sent (before May 25) to doctorado.gestion@uam.es, putting in the subject "Doctoral Week: poster summary"

Participation in this activity will be certified, and may be included in the activity document. Likewise, the poster presentation is associated with a ticket to attend the Big Van Ciencia monologue.

General instructions (05.26.2023)

Once the selection process of the posters that will be presented by doctoral students has finished, we indicate below basic information to take into account:

• Recommended size for the poster: DIN A1 (approximate measurements 60 x 85 cm). It is the size that guarantees that all the posters can be displayed in the space provided.
• For already printed posters that have a larger size, they can be presented as long as they do not exceed DIN A0 size (84.1 x 118.9 cm). Since the number of spaces for these larger posters is limited, it is necessary to request authorization from the organizing committee (mail to doctorado.gestion@uam.es) for a correct organization of the session. 
• The design of the poster (font type and size, spacing, etc.) is free.

Placement of the posters: on June 12, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. PhD students who exhibit posters are expected to be available for consultations during the scheduled exhibition hours (between 3:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.)

Best Poster Award Among the posters that participate in the exhibition, the five best posters in the opinion of the attendees will be selected, based on the criteria of each one, who will be awarded €300 (first prize), €200 (second prize) and €100 ( three second prizes) The bases of this call for awards can be consulted here and in the download area.
