Scientific meetings for each PhD Program

WARNING: website continuously updated until the start of the Doctoral Week 2026.


Between 25th and 29th May, parallel sessions are scheduled to take place in the different campus faculties in which the PhD students from each doctoral program will present the development of their research. They are also intended to serve as a meeting point.

These sessions are coordinated by the Academic Committees of each doctoral program.

 


PhD programmes in Health Sciences.

The Faculty of Medicine, the UAM Doctoral School, and the coordinators of the doctoral programs related to health sciences are organizing the Workshop in Health Science and Biomedicine 2026, which will take place on Thursday, May 28th, at the Faculty of Medicine, within the UAM Doctoral Week.

We encourage you to participate in this event, either by attending or by presenting your research in the form of a poster or an oral communication.

To do so, you must complete the online registration form, where you will indicate your type of participation (attendance only, poster, or oral communication):

PhD Programmes in Philosophy and Language Sciences.

PhiLanSci UAM 2026: 2nd International Conference for Emerging Researchers in Philosophy and Language Sciences.

Dates: 27, 28 and 29 May 2026.

Objective: to consolidate a broader and stronger network of relationships among young researchers from around the world and to enhance the profile and visibility of the UAM’s PhD Programme in Philosophy and Language Sciences.

Aimed at: all PhD students enrolled in the UAM’s Doctoral Programme in Philosophy and Language Sciences, with a number of places reserved for students on related Master’s programmes at the same university. It is also open to PhD students on similar programmes at other universities in the Community of Madrid, Spain and anywhere in the world.
