PhD Programme in Pharmacology and Physiology

Based on the collaborations established by UAM or specifically by the PhD Programme in Pharmacology and Physiology 99/2011, the doctoral thesis can be also developed in the following centers/institutions:

• Other UAM Departments non-specifically adscribed to the PhD Programme.
• The four Teaching Clinical Units of UAM Faculty of Medicine, located at the University Hospitals La Paz, La Princesa, Puerta de Hierro-Majadahonda, and Fundación Jiménez Díaz.
• UAM-CSIC centeres, IMDEA and, in general, all research Institutes and Centers holding a teaching agreement with UAM.
• Centers with from ISCII with teaching and research collaborative agreements with UAM, including CIEMAT, the National Centre for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC) or the National Centre for Oncologic Research (CNIO).
• Ramón y Cajal Hospital, which has signed a specific teaching and research agreement with the MSc in Pharmacological Research and the PhD Programme in Pharmacology and Physiology (UAM).
• Other research institutions with after signing the corresponding agreement with UAM.

At the international level, UAM is now part of the CIVIS European Universities alliance. Other members of the alliance are Aix Marseille (France), Tübingen (Germany), Sapienza (Italy), Kapodistrian de Atenas (Greece), Bucarest (Rumania), Libre de Bruselas (Belgium), Estocolmo (Sweden) y Glasgow (United Kingdom).

Besides, EDUAM has signed collaborative agreements at the PhD level with a high number of non-Spanish universities.
