Degree in Medicine
The Degree in Medicine is part of the Health Sciences branch. Its official duration is of six years and the degree obtained at the end of the programme qualifies graduates to work as doctors.
  • The general and specific skills to be acquired correspond to those necessary to obtain a university degree or Master’s degree, reflect their general orientation and are the generic skills used to establish the requirements for official university degrees entitling graduates to work in the medical profession.

    Of the skills acquired by graduates within the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education (MECES), those influencing the following are given precedence:

    • The ability to interpret data to make decisions that include taking into consideration matters of a social, scientific and ethical nature.
    • The ability to learn through self-instruction, demonstrate creativity through individual exercises and pieces of work, and be able to adapt to new situations and carry out tasks as part of a team.
