From the AgroBank Chair "Quality and Innovation in the Agri-food Sector", promoted by CaixaBank and the University of Lleida:

Call for the VII AgroBank Chair Award for the best Doctoral Thesis, intended for doctors who have obtained their degree at a Spanish university by completing a doctoral thesis on a subject related to Quality and Innovation in the agricultural or food sector.

The objective of this award is to recognize the research carried out in agriculture, livestock or food, in a broad sense, especially in the fields of innovation, quality or agri-food safety, rewarding that thesis that represents a significant advance in knowledge in this field. 

The prize is endowed with 5,000 euros, also rewarding a single runner-up endowed with 1,000 euros.

All those doctors, of any nationality, who have defended their doctoral thesis at any of the Spanish universities between November 1, 2021 and December 31, 2022, having obtained the highest qualification (outstanding cum laude) will be eligible for the award. Theses that have been submitted for a similar award and have not yet been resolved, nor those that have been awarded by any other institution, may not compete. The Extraordinary Doctorate Prize awarded by the university where the thesis was defended is excluded from this criterion.

The application submission period begins on March 1, 2023 and ends on April 30, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
