The purpose of the Carolina Foundation is to promote cultural relations and cooperation in educational and scientific matters between Spain and the countries of the Ibero-American Community of Nations and with others with special historical, cultural and geographical ties. Since its inception, the core of the activities of this Foundation has been located in the field of training Ibero-American students and teachers, promoting their studies through postgraduate and doctoral scholarships, and research grants, which They cover all areas of knowledge.

 

If you are a foreign doctoral student and wish to carry out a research stay at UAM, you must contact directly the UAM professor/researcher with whom you want to collaborate, who will be responsible for processing everything necessary for this stay through their Centre/Department.

 

UAM WELCOME DAY (THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 4TH) 

On Thursday 4th, September, our International Team would like to warmly welcome more than 1000 international students who have chosen UAM for an exchange program. 

We have organized a welcome program where you will also have the chance to meet local and international students. 

Please register as soon as possible and choose your group here between these two options: 

  •  Group 1 - Spanish, starting time: 10:30.  
  •  Group 2 - English, starting time: 10:45.  

Few days before the event, you will receive detailed information about your group’s welcome programme.
