Curriculum Vitae
Materials scientist with a PhD in Chemistry of Materials and strong expertise in electrochemical energy storage, particularly lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, developing operando ion beam analysis techniques approaches to address challenges in next-generation solid-state batteries.
Experienced in advanced in situ/operando characterization methods, including ion beam analysis and synchrotron wide-angle X-ray scattering with a focus on understanding degradation mechanisms, fast-charging behavior, and thermal runaway in large-format batteries. Previously conducted postdoctoral research at CEA (France), contributing to large-scale battery testing, data automation using Python, and synchrotron-based investigations.
PhD research focused on developing chemical sensors for heavy metal detection using chalcogenide materials, including synthesis, structural and electrical characterization. Strong background in materials synthesis, electrochemical testing, and multi-technique characterization (XRD, Raman, SEM, DSC, impedance spectroscopy).
Author and co-author of peer-reviewed publications and active participants in international conferences through oral and poster presentations. Teaching experience in undergraduate chemistry laboratories.
High technical skills in Python, MATLAB, and scientific software tools, with hands-on experience in both experimental and data-driven research. Multilingual (English, French, Arabic) and recognized for adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving in interdisciplinary and international research environments.
