The student will learn the specificities of the sector: passengers´ characteristics, available aircraft fleets, agreements with public entities and national and international regulators, large international associations of the sector, amongst others, and the passengers´ predicted trends of destinations and services, technological innovations, treatment and improvement of environmental impact, new techniques for human resources and technical means, together with the introduction in the companies of quality systems and corporate responsibility.
With this degree, the student should be able to achieve the understanding and comprehension of the basic knowledge of commercial aviation, to apply the acquired knowledge in the commercial aviation area, from strategic and budgetary planning to company management and aeronautical organization, using the relative competences that will allow making and defending arguments and resolving problems as well as proposing organizational solutions.
Furthermore, they will have to put to use the ability to gather and interpret relevant data within the company sphere, to make reflected judgments of important subjects such as technical-aeronautical, operative, financial and investing, and being able to convey information, ideas, problems and solutions, inside as well as outside the company, as in front of a diversity of relevant shareholders and external organizations (partners and competitors, public administrations and international bodies), in addition to the customers themselves (passengers, tour operators, dealerships, among others).
