For the academic year 2026/27:

First Period: April 29th, 2026 to September 30th,2026.

       Application resolution : October 15th, 2026

       Enrollment: 19th October to 2nd November, 2026
 

 Second Period: October 26th, 2026 to January 31st, 2027

       Application resolution: February 12th, 2027

       Enrollment: 16th February to 1st March 2027

 

Pre-admission letter

In order to apply for certain pre-doctoral grants/contracts, it may be necessary to justify pre-admission to a doctoral program. This letter of pre-admission will be issued by the coordinator of the program of interest.

To obtain this letter of pre-admission, valid for the following academic year, you must fill in the model that you will find on this page (download area, "Modelo Carta de Preadmisión") and send it to doctorado.gestion@uam.es (subject: “Carta de Preadmisión”) together with the "Aval de Dirección" ("Endorsement of Doctoral Thesis" or "Researcher's confirmation"), which you will find in the download area of the “documentation” page for admission. 

This letter is not a formal admission, nor does it entitle you to admission and subsequent enrollment in the PhD Program, so that, even if you obtain the pre-doctoral grant, it is essential to complete the application for admission by following the steps described here, within the periods indicated and providing the necessary documentation.
