Descripción: The overall objective of “WE4LEAD Leadership” is to transform the governance of Mediterranean Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) through the promotion and adoption of a culture of gender equality.
Objetivos: “WE4LEAD Leadership” aims to increase the proportion of women among the top decision-making bodies of the HEIs, thereby contributing to a more inclusive management and governance of these institutions. Indeed, while women are in the majority among the lower echelons, they become a minority as you rise in the hierarchy. The existence of such an injustice not only deprives the HEIs of half of their available human capital, but it is also harmful to the University communities and to society as a whole.

Descripción: PolyCIVIS proposes to jostle against 4 factors impeding our capacity to resolve the polycrisis (the combination of several concurrent major societal crises that we currently face) by actively working through and across 4 groups of boundaries:
- across the different crises (contemplating holistically how they interact),
- across time (combining the latest science with overlooked lessons of the past),
- across disciplinary clusters (the complexity of the polycrisis requires a fully integrated multidisciplinary response),
- across territories and languages (at the local, the national, the regional, the continental, and the global levels, and across language barriers).
These 4 approaches will be applied to 3 fundamental dimensions: research, policy, and teaching.

Descripción: ADVANCEU holds the ambition to support and enhance the enlargement process constructively by exploring solutions that enable the EU to not only fulfil its commitment to enlargement, but “turn it into a catalyst for progress” while simultaneously contributing to the development of a more resilient Union for its citizens.
Four goals are particularly relevant to achieving this objective:
1. Advancing understanding of Current Challenges (requiring simultaneous transformations while challenge d by the rise of political forces rejecting the EU’s liberdemocratic value base)
2. Advancing the functioning of the Union (through engagement with and development of reform proposals)
3. Advancing the respect for common values (through fostering dialogue with stakeholders, civil society and the broader public)
4. Advancing co-operation across boundaries (in aiming to make a future, larger EU a common endeavour of “old” and prospective member states) The project is based on the understanding that recognizing the integration project's vulnerabilities and the risks of enlargement is crucial for the EU to effectively navigate future challenges and introduce adequate reforms to make the EU “enlargement-proof”. The proposed Jean Monnet Network ADVANCEU acknowledges the dual role of the academic community as both a producer and disseminator of knowledge to current and future decision-makers, as well as the general public. Coordinated by the University of Salzburg (Salzburg Centre of European Union Studies) the network encourages transdisciplinary debate, develops cutting-edge research results and brings together knowledge generated in high-ranking research projects and by renowned experts in their fields and aims to foster European values in research and teaching. Tightly connected to CIVIS, and thriving on the institutional network it provides, it foresees the creation of a set of outcomes contributing to a resilient EU ready for enlargement.

Descripción: Digital skills are becoming more and more important in todays’ society. In order to prepare youngsters for their future, schools should pay more attention to being able to write a scripting language for, for example, a website or a program, the so-called coding lessons. Programming teaches children to create instead of to consume. When programming, children learn these skills: Creative and logical thinking - Spatial insight - Problem solving ability - To structure things/situations -To collaborate, ... Learning how to program is not necessarily intended to train children to become a computer programmer, but to teach them skills that will be very useful for every choice of studies or job in the future.
Objetivos:
- Make teaching in coding accessible to all teachers, even if they have no ICT or technical education.
- Promote skills in children such as creative and logical thinking, spatial insight, problem solving, collaboration, structurationof things/situations, etc.
- Encourage learners to focus on the understanding and mastering of technologies, and not focus on passive use of them.
- Make children understand the digital world in which they live by learning how to program.

Descripción: Going on Erasmus is a great way for young people to learn more about themselves and develop their personal skills to make them more equipped to join a globalised society. However, students don’t always manage to voice which skills they have gained through their mobility.
The Erasmus Skills project provides a set of innovative tools to help Erasmus students enhance and acknowledge the soft skills and competences gained thanks to their mobility experience.
Various tools provide support both to students – before, during and after their mobility experience – and to the university teachers and practitioners – on how to back Erasmus students for a more conscious soft skills acquisition.
Objetivos:
- Research on learning outcomes of the mobility period by identifying the skills acquired
- Implementation of individual evaluation questionnaires (before, during, after mobility) for students. Delivery of a post-mobility certificate based on the self-assessment.
- Creation of recommendations during the mobility to maximize the chances for an interesting learning curve.
- Blended training on skills and European values
- Integration of findings in the Erasmus + app

Descripción: In the beginning of 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic hit countries around the globe with great impact, causing a devastating effect in the economy and in society at large. The restrictions that were imposed to limit mobility and ensure physical distancing between people, affected all types of activities including teaching. In Europe, many Higher Education Institutions (HEI) had to develop fast institutional responses to the COVID-19 crisis, initially tackling logistical issues and ensuring the necessary technological provision in order to replace face-to-face classes by synchronous distance learning, while it was not possible to resume the traditional teaching modality. NOVA University Lisbon, the Autonomous University of Madrid, and the University of Rome Tor Vergata constituted a consortium will reward the best blended-learning courses in each of the three universities, in different areas of knowledge, and the efforts of their faculty to respond to the COVID-19 challenge of distance education, through the creation of an International Blended Learning Award (hereinafter also referred to as “BLA”). The most innovative aspect of this initiative is that all three partner HEI are committed to jointly offering the awarded courses, thus allowing for a true virtual mobility based on a shared international catalogue of blended learning courses that will be available to students of the HEI of the Consortium and their partners.
