OPEI

The European and International Projects Office (OPEI, for its acronym in Spanish) belongs to the Research and Transfer Area. Its main mission is to promote and support the participation of UAM research staff in projects with European and international funding. 

What does OPEI do?

• Encourage the participation of UAM researchers in various European and international calls for proposals.
• Provide personalized support in discovering, preparing, and submitting proposals to European calls for proposals for Horizon Europe and other programs.
• Help research groups find partners and strategic alliances. Advise on the monitoring, justification, auditing, and closure of awarded projects.

• Organize training sessions for research and management staff.

• Assist in compliance with cross-cutting themes: Open Science, Scientific Culture, Data Management Plans, Ethics, and Gender.

• We belong to the network of European offices, CRUE's OE NETWORK, to improve university participation in European programs.

There is a European programme for every stage of your career and the research to be carried out, from the earliest ideas to their launch on the market, if necessary.

Contact the OPEI. You will need support to register your project at the UAM, sign agreements with the European Commission, hire people to form your team, and other questions.
