Resumen curriculum vitae

BIOGRAFÍA:

I am a neuropsychologist working for more than 15 years in understanding the cognitive disturbances in neurodegenerative diseases, like PD, which is a priority within the Horizon Europe program (European Union). My work has covered two main research lines: 1) Description of mechanisms underlying cognitive impairments in PD and healthy controls using Neuropsychological and Neuroimaging techniques; and 2) Treatment: Evaluation of pharmacological (norepinephrine and serotonin) and non-pharmacological tools (Cognitive training and surgical treatment) in Parkinson´s disease. My research has been performed in Spain, UK, Italy, & France, getting in contact with researchers from all around the world at international projects. In the recent years, I have achieved wide experience in grade and postgraduate teaching in both Spanish and English to students from Spain (UAM, UNED) and the USA (Univ. of Minnesota).
