Organised by Ivar Björkman, Open Lab Coordinator at the University of Stockholm (SU), the session welcomes Anders Rosén, Associate professor department of learning (KTH), Helen Slättman, City management office, (City of Stockholm) and Jens Hemphälä, Researcher and teacher (Openlab mastercourse).
Ivar and his team will share experiences and insights from running a challenge driven education within Openlab in Stockholm from both a research, education and stakeholder perspective.
There will be time for discussion and the session will be sketch-captured by our Resident Artist Judith Du Faux who will create a wonderfully evolving visual storyboard of the CIVIS CONNECT series.
This session is for Educators, researchers, students, and anyone interested in finding out more about this practice.
CIVIS CONNECT is our new online discussion series exploring the myriad of ways universities can engage with their civic surroundings. Topics will span areas such as service learning, challenge-led education, research engagement and the civic role of a university.
